Return to Monkey Island is the unexpected and incredible return of series creator Ron Gilbert, continuing the story of the legendary adventure games The Secret of Monkey Island and Monkey Island: LeChuck's Revenge, developed in partnership with Lucasfilm Games.

Many years have passed since the last battle between Guybrush Threepwood and his arch-enemy, the zombie pirate LeChuck. The love of his life, Elaine Marley, has retired from the governor's affairs, and Guybrush himself has never solved the Mystery of Monkey Island and is simply adrift. New young pirate leaders led by Captain Madison have removed the old guard from power, things are getting worse on Massacre Island, and the famous businessman Stan has been jailed for "advertising crimes."
